Cool DOF, and the key without the covering adds a bit of tension to the shot...nice capture

@Chris Sullivan: Thanks Chris! This piano has certainly seen much, much better days. I was torn between showing the missing covering or showing the marker marks on the keys that the grandkids had put on there!

Its the day of the macros. The finish of the piano is so old that this marco is not appealing so much.

@Shuva Brata Deb: Thanks for your comments, Shuva. I tried a b&w version after reading your comment ... it's 6 of one, half a dozen of the other ... I was a bit apprehensive to post another b&w photo though as my previous 2 posts were b&w.

We're doin' ok. I am finished exams for the semester, so I am really, really relieved!

Glad to hear the semester has been put to rest shall I say...Sounds so comforting in an odd sort of way!
